Welcome

Thank you for choosing Dendo to motorise your blinds. Our goal is to minimise the mystery and complexity around electric blinds so that it becomes accessible to a wider audience. This documentation website is designed to help you quickly get up to speed on how to install and use Dendo motorisation products.

The Dendo difference

Unlike many existing DIY solutions, Dendo BlindWinder motors are designed to go inside the hollow tube of your roller blind. This means ungainly chains are eliminated completely for an ultra-clean look. However, since there is a variety of different hardware systems for blinds, this brings about a unique set of compatibility challenges. It is therefore imperative that we present important information clearly so as to save you time and minimise confusion.

Compatibility guide

We do our best to make our motors compatible with as many blinds are possible. Please go to System Compatibility to determine if the Dendo motor is compatible with your blind, and what hardware adapters you need to order.

Installation guide

The installation process involves first removing the blind from its brackets, then installing the motor into the blind. Detailed instructions can be found in the following pages:

Using the remote

The Dendo motor is controlled via a remote control handset. Please see Remote Instructions to learn about how to use it.
